3-Day Horse Camp for Children (6-15)EnrichmentExperience a mini-week long camp! Campers will get to experience everyday life at a barn! Life in the barn will include activities such as; daily riding, learning how to braid manes and tails with ribbon, groom and care for the horses (including bathing) and feed them at the end of the day. This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. Please note that riding takes about 1 hour per day in an arena, no trails and consist of learning to how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day. Please note: Campers need to bring sunscreen/hat/bug spray, a lunch, snacks, and plenty to drink. Long pants, closed toe shoes, and appropriate clothes for weather inside or outside recommended. Drop-off is at 9am and pickup is 3pm.Spring/Summer 2026 -

ACCFC 5th–6th Grade Sports SamplerSports & FitnessThe 5th–6th Grade Sports Sampler is a FREE program for Fridley Middle School students in grades 5 and 6. Led by YMCA coaches, students will try a variety of sports and active games, including basketball, soccer, flag football, and more. No prior experience is needed, and all equipment is provided. School-year sessions include a snack and access to the 4:45 p.m. activity bus, in alignment with district transportation procedures. Students needing transportation for spring sessions must complete the transportation form if they have not already done so. Summer sessions will be held outdoors unless weather requires a change. No snack or transportation is provided for the summer session. Students may register for multiple sessions. Families who register for this FREE program may also use code YMCAFridley50 for 50% off a YMCA Summer Camp. Please apply the code at the payment screen when registering for camp. Our staff are trained in “out of school time” curriculum planning, child development, active supervision and engagement, CPR, and First Aid. Our program is an ideal place where students can explore their interests in a variety of fun and challenging activities designed to build confidence and foster independence in a safe, nurturing environment. This full day preschool is a partnership between the Fridley Public Schools' Primary Years Programme (PYP) and it's Tiger Club Childcare departments. It is a fee-based offering for families who have a 3 or 4-year-old child and are looking for a more full day of programming. Located at the Fridley Community Center this program runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and follows the district school year calendar.
