Introduction to Yoga & Mindfulness (One-Day Workshop)FitnessCurious about yoga but not sure where to start? This welcoming, beginner-friendly class is the perfect place to begin. Led by experienced instructor Debomita Basu, this one-time session introduces the foundations of yoga and mindfulness in a supportive, low-pressure environment. Participants will be guided through a gentle flow that focuses on breath awareness, basic alignment, and simple strength-building movements. In addition to practicing together, you’ll leave with practical tools and strategies you can use to build or deepen your own yoga practice at home. Longsword Foundations 1 (Ages 16 and up)FitnessCome learn the basics of fighting with the European Longsword - the same weapon you’ve seen used by people like Geralt, King Arthur, and many Knights throughout history. This class is based on the published works of fencing master Joachim Meyer of Strasbourg (1534-1571) and is taught by a team of instructors from the St. Paul Freifechter. During this 8-week class, you will learn: >The basic and foundational techniques of combat with the European Longsword >Common historical vocabulary and terminology for the principles and techniques. >How to be a competent and safe training and sparring partner. My Little Horse CampEnrichmentThis 2 hour camp is designed for adults and children, ages 2-5. Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet a number of different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn how to groom the horses...all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will do an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are split into 15 minute intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents have the opportunity to lead their child on the horse and take photographs as they go. Camps are held rain or shine and parent/guardian is expected to remain with their child during the entire duration of the camp.Spring/Summer 2026 -

Safeway Driver's EducationEnrichmentParents/guardians will be required to complete Safeway's Account Verification. Safeway will be sending out an email before class begins that gives detailed information about how to login to the student's Safeway account to verify and complete contact information and to review and acknowledge our Service Agreement. Classroom training can be taken by students who are 14-1/2 years or older and consists of 10 three-hour lessons. Each lesson is independent and can be taken in any order. If a lesson is missed, the student can make it up when and where it is convenient at a Safeway classroom or contact Safeway for more information. Lesson calendars are available on Safeway’s web site. Safewaydrivingschool.com Behind-the-wheel training consists of 3 two-hour private lessons which can be scheduled online or by calling Safeway’s office (651-351-9150). Pick-up and drop-off is at home, school or work. Training is done in a white late-model car with Safeway’s “Student Driver” graphics. Classroom training and Behind-the-wheel training are included in the full cost of $414 (this includes $49 community education registration fee). Classroom training only payment option is $234 (this includes $49 community education registration), and Safeway collects $180 during the behind the wheel lessons. Safeway Driving School was selected by Fridley Community Education to provide teen driver’s education. Safeway is the largest driving school in Minnesota. It has an A+ rating with BBB and is a BBB Accredited Business. Safeway has 70 experienced instructors background checked and licensed by the MN Dept. of Public Safety. Scholarship assistance note: The typical scholarship assistance is to waive the $49 Community Education fee assistance cost. Safeway driving school also has a payment plan. Tiger Boys & Girls Basketball (Grades 5-8)Sports & FitnessThis camp is for Tiger Basketball players, or interested players, entering grades 5, 6, 7, and 8. The camp will stress fundamentals, individual basketball skills, shooting form, passing, screening, cutting, and ball handling. Team play will consist of 2 on 2, 3 on 3, 4 on 4, and 5 on 5 transition games. The High School Boys' and Girls' Varsity Coaches, Bryce Richter and Kynadi Johnson along with assistant coaches will run camp along with current varsity players. We can work out schedule conflicts with the Summer Strength Training Program. Each student will receive a camp shirt and basketball prizes.
